Please note: Wonder Woods Mini Golf has closed for 2024. Look for the return of the mini golf experience in summer 2025.

Throughout the summer of 2024, guests enjoyed a new interactive experience at The Morton Arboretum—Wonder Woods Mini Golf! The imaginative, tree-themed course was specially designed for the Arboretum with the help of our research scientists.

From giant mushrooms to larger-than-life bugs and acorns, Wonder Woods brought the Arboretum’s tree science to life in fun and unexpected ways. Participants of all ages learned how tree rings can tell the life story of a tree, how trees support the ecosystems of bugs and wildlife, and other wonderfully cool—and surprising!—scientific concepts.
